D. Brooks Conforti, D.O., AOBNMM
Dr. Conforti is the Medical Director of OMAM, which she founded in 2000. Her practice focuses on osteopathic evalution and treatment of patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Dr. Conforti completed her training at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan and also participated in two residency programs specializing in Surgery and Anesthesia. She also spent time at both the Children's Hospital in Buffalo, New York, as well as at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she completed her post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Conforti served in the United States Navy as Senior Corpsman on a Surgical Unit and headed the Stat Laboratory at Bethesda Naval Hospital. She belongs to many organizations including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathy, and she is Board Certified in Neuromuscular Medicine. She is particularly interested in sports-related injuries, especially those involving running or cycling.
Dr. Conforti enjoys distance running, bike racing, snowshoeing, and spending time in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
Dr. Conforti has Level II full accreditation through the Colorado Division of Worker's Compensation.
